Journal Entry: Thu Jul 24, 2014, 6:51 PM
So, on my lit account I have a follower who decided to link me to one of her journals because it had to do with an issue similar to my Hetalia Rant post.
She has apparently now gotten mad at me because I have a differing opinion than she does and I get the feeling that she was of the mind set that I would totally support her ranting about "weeabos" and "social justice warriors" and about how there aren't any offensive pairings in Hetalia.
All the while completely missing my point about how it's behavior not opinions that can be bad!
I had to check her age because I was like, "You have to be a teenager, because this entire world view reeks of teen-who-has-never-lived-through-college."
This particular person is 17.
Can I call 'em or what?
This is of course not to say that all teenagers are naive and overly-confrontational, but I've noticed that lately I can spot teens on dA a mile away. I know that there are plenty of teens that are perfectly aware of themselves and the world around them and most importantly TOLERANT, but I seem to always find the naive ones who - and I am going to break a rule and name call here - are twits!
Does anyone else have this issue/sixth sense? Or is this simply an outgrowth of my teacher sense?
